The Classical Music Navigator

This great classical music Web site describes itself as "Information on 444 classical music composers, grouped in ways making it easier for the user to identify musical works with characteristics similar to one another."

So, say you're scanning through the radio stations and happen to stop at a classical one. You hear enough of the piece to decide you really like it, and are lucky enough to catch the name of the composer. You're not terribly familiar with classical music, but you think you'd like to hear more of what you found you did like. The Classical Music Navigator site can help.
